A full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized services to elementary school students within a K-12 school setting. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through May 21, 2026, serving multiple campuses in the Chattanooga area. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a caseload of early childhood learners to support speech and communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary school students
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams in meetings and planning
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all licensing and educational reporting standards
- Support the enhancement of communication skills for students with speech and language needs
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Tennessee Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Tennessee Department of Education certification
- Experience working with school-aged children, specifically in elementary education settings
- Ability to work full-time (35-37.5 hours/week) on-site in Ooltewah, TN; hybrid or remote options are not available
